Living & working all his life in the South West of WA, Brian Moulton of ACTON South West fell into real estate almost by default.

“I established a stone fruit and cattle property in Balingup which I owned & operated, building up a successful export trade to South East Asia. At the age of 35 I sold the property & moved to Busselton to semi-retire. Retirement lasted all of 11 months until I became bored,“ Brian said.

“Knowing the value of Busselton as not only an extremely popular holiday destination but also as an ideal place to live, I started buying, renovating & on selling houses.”

“After several years I was approached by a real estate agent I bought & sold properties through who asked me to join him in real estate sales. At first I wasn't too keen but looking back it has been the ideal career for me & I thoroughly enjoy it.”

After 6 years in the industry, Brian opened his first office in Busselton as principal & a second office in Dunsborough not long after. 13 Years later he decided to join ACTON as a director & he facilitated the bringing together of the most experienced real estate management & sales team in the South West.

Brian happily admits he loves the challenge & the drama of bringing deals together.

“Buying & selling real estate can be a very emotionally charged situation which often requires sensitive negotiation. I get a lot of satisfaction in the success of bringing 2 or more parties together in a deal everyone is happy with.”
