Introducing Graeme Baxter
In an industry where people can come and go, Graeme has built a long and very successful career, commencing as a sales representative in Sydney in 1970. Over the years he has gained considerable experience in the industry and he is recognised by his peers as a very professional, ethical real estate practitioner as well as a highly skilled manager and trainer.
After moving to Western Australia in the mid 1970s, and rising from sales representative to branch manager and licensee, he opened his own real estate business in the mid 1980s. Under his guidance the office quickly became very successful.
In 1997 Graeme joined the ACTON Group, opening ACTON Applecross with business partner Monica Yeoh. They soon established ACTON as the market leaders in the area and their strong performances saw ACTON Applecross named as ACTON's Business of the Year from 2001 to 2005.
In December 2005 his management expertise saw him appointed to the ACTON Board and he was General Manager for the Group from 2005 to 2007. He then took a more active role as Managing Director from 2007 to 2013, participating in the roll out of the ACTON Region Scheme which saw the Group nearly double in size.
Graeme has a great love of the industry and has always enjoyed managing a real estate business so in early 2013, when the opportunity arose to get back to the coal face and join the highly successful Mandurah team as a Director, he took it.
Graeme and his wife Anne moved to the area in 2013. Like many others they were attracted by the fantastic lifestyle the Mandurah region offers, and particularly enjoy the relaxed way of life and wonderful restaurants.
