I feel I bring a unique combination of skills to the real estate industry. With over twenty years of experience in customer service positions, specifically in the pharmacy and hospitality industries I am ideally suited to make real estate transactions smooth and hassle free. My strong work ethic derives from my childhood, where I experienced hardship upon arriving in Australia as a political refugee in the 1980s.
Tragedy struck our family when my father drowned on the perilous route to Australia from Vietnam. I grew up in Perth with my widowed mother and my sister. My mother spoke no English yet she took on two jobs to support my sister and myself.
During these tough periods, leisure time during my childhood was limited. My mother sacrificed everything for my sister and I to experience a better quality of life than she had. This has inspired me to make the most of every opportunity that life presents as my family came to Australia with nothing.
I want to provide a stable home for my wife and daughter, and for my daughter to experience life’s opportunities that my hard-working mother gave me. It’s important for me to honour my father’s legacy as he died to give us all a better life. It is my duty to care for my mother as she did for me in her old age.
My upbringing has heavily influenced my development as a persistent and success-driven individual. My life experiences have allowed me to develop good coping strategies and skill sets for life’s challenges.
I believe what I have been through has given me great strength of character and resilience, so I will work hard together with you to ensure that you are in safe hands.
I started my professional working life as a Pharmacist managing pharmacies in the Western Suburbs. This role had me consulting with patients to achieve clinical-based healthcare solutions that were tailored individually to each patient’s needs.
I believe that these attributes of my pharmaceutical career have given me a keen eye for detail and a penchant for problem solving. This reflects highly upon my abilities as an attentive and determined real estate consultant.
As the owner of local café Boubar, I have learned that the combination of passion and hard work is imperative to give customers an enjoyable experience when visiting my café. As my staff all often hear, my oft-noted phrase “Retail is detail!” I would say this encapsulates my desire for providing high-quality service for the customer’s satisfaction. Managing a small business has also taught me to manage time efficiently and smoothly to over-see a business with 17 staff members. These skills I have accumulated in both the hospitality and pharmacy industries allowed me to develop into a strong negotiator by dealing with suppliers on a daily basis.
When I’m not working with clients, keeping fit, or socialising with customers and friends over a glass of wine, I love to spend time with my wife and baby daughter.
