Introducing David and Martine Eyers.

As a husband-and-wife team, David and Martine Eyers offer their clients a wealth of benefits.

You have the advantage of having two highly experienced agents working on your behalf, whereas in many cases you often have a salesperson and an assistant.

“We are both trained professional salespeople. Even when conducting busy home opens, buyers are still able to be qualified and followed up.”

“Having the two of us at your home opens also allows us to handle buyer objections more discreetly, with one agent able to discuss the benefits of your home while the other can discuss buyer objections privately.”

It also gives you choice, either as a seller or buyer, with people often gravitating to either David or Martine, depending on who they are naturally more comfortable with.

And they bring a wide combination of skills to the table.

David has extensive experience in project marketing. In particular, he has been heavily involved in the Perry Lakes development.

“I enjoy going through the whole process - working with the architect, through to the development and marketing. As an agent, it’s good to have that input on the design at the beginning so that the product matches what buyers are looking for. I also like helping buyers visualise how the end result is going to look and to consider things from a future resale point of view.”

Martine’s attention to detail is a huge asset when it comes to preparing a home for sale.

“I really believe in getting the presentation right, from how the home looks to the photographer getting the right shots. There are no shortcuts when it comes to getting the best possible price.”

They are supported by executive assistant Jamie Bradford and the entire ACTON Dalkeith and Cottesloe team.

It was their love of real estate that led to their careers in the property industry.

Previously David spent 12 years in a senior management role for Coles Myer, and then at BankWest, managing three branches: Cottesloe, Nedlands, and Claremont.

After completing a science degree, Martine taught for three years before moving into a sales role for an international pharmaceuticals company. She later moved into a management position, training representatives in product knowledge and sales, as well as assisting in the development of the company's marketing strategies.

Their backgrounds in finance, management, sales, and negotiating have been extremely beneficial and they have found real estate very fulfilling.

When we decided to sell our property we contacted a number of Real Estate Agencies to seek their appraisal and recommendations. We finally decided to appoint David Eyers of ACTON. The process was somewhat delicate as the property was rented at the time and inspections had to be arranged with the tenants—not so straight forward. During the sale period (which was after the heat had gone out of the market) David effectively marketed the property and kept us regularly updated with the process.
