“My partner and I have been working and travelling our way around the world and have seen some amazing places and met some fantastic people,” he said. “However nothing beats the South West. It has outstanding opportunities and a great lifestyle. I think we all take for granted what is on our doorstep just waiting to be explored - it could be fishing at Castle Rock, a long lunch at one of the many local wineries, or shopping at the Vasse markets.”
Mat felt it was time to return home, settle down and dedicate himself to a new career. The opportunity of a real estate career with ACTON South West was perfectly timed and Mat is excited to be part of the successful Busselton office as a residential sales executive.
Mat grew up around sales, with his father Brian Moulton working in real estate in the South West for nearly 25 years. He has spent 13 years in the banking and tourism industries and will apply the knowledge and sales skills he gained to real estate.
“Real estate is not about houses, it's about people. I am very social and working in sales is ideal for me,” said Mat.
“I really enjoy working with a client, interpreting their needs and then meeting the challenge of finding the 'product' that is right for them. When I worked in travel I loved receiving a postcard from a happy client who was having a great time on the holiday that I had recommended and organised just for them. I always look forward to that same feeling over and over again every time I have successfully helped someone buy or sell their home.”
